The Tourism Promotion Board organizes an event on the occasion of Mawlid of Prophet

Today in Sana'a, the Tourism Promotion Board organized a celebratory event to mark the birth of the Prophet “peace be upon him”.

In the event, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Tourism, ’ Dr. Issam Al-Sneni, emphasized the importance of celebrating this grate day (AlMawlid of Prophet) and the indications it carries, especially as the Yemeni people face aggression and the siege for the sixth year.

He emphasized that the Yemeni celebration of this occasion reflects their steadfastness, their great sacrifices, their confrontation with aggression and their progress towards building the modern Yemeni state, their revision of the covenant of the prophet, and following his biography and represents his creation and approach.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani highlighted the implications of the ceremony of the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, in circumstances of the aggression and siege that the country is exposed to, steering to the importance of reviving this occasion to adhere to what the leader of mankind has brought and what it symbolizes in terms of calling for brotherhood and sympathy and embodying the ideals and values pursued by the Prophet Humanity and drawing inspiration from models and lessons from his biography, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.

While sermons delivered at the event emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth of the greatest Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent by Allah as mercy to the worlds, and the insight to participate in the central event and all activities held on this occasion.

The event was interspersed with chant and elegant articles that expressed the imperative of following the qualities of the noble prophet and working with what he brought and in a practice that guarantees the unity of state and victory for the true Islamic religion.

The event was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Abdo Al-Sanwi, the Undersecretary of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Dr. Amat Al-Razzaq Jahaf, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance Abdul Rahman Al-Naimi, the Secretary-General of the National Museum Ibrahim Al-Hadi, the Executive Director of the Tourism Promotion Board Muhammad Al-Mansour, and the Director-General of the Tourism Police at the Municipality Nabil Assembly, representatives from the local authority, and employees of the Promotion Board and the Ministry of Tourism.
